What's new

Features added to Yonevo and the improvements made. Every published entry stays here with its date.

Last updated:

  1. New

    English interface

The management panel, resident portal and website are now also available in English. In the panel and the resident portal the language is chosen from the profile menu and saved to the account; email and SMS notifications are sent in the recipient's language. Accounting records and statutory documents remain in Turkish.

  2. Improvement

    Sign-in verification code

The verification code sent by SMS is valid for 5 minutes and the message states when it expires. A wrong first attempt no longer invalidates the code; there are three attempts. If the SMS does not arrive, the code can also be sent by email.

  3. New

Front desk: parcels, documents and visitors

Staff log incoming parcels, documents and visitors by searching for the recipient by name or flat. The record appears in the resident's portal and the resident is notified; it is closed once handed over.

  4. Improvement

    Documents and agreements

The documents module is now split into three tabs — Agreements, Rent and Documents — with the same button layout on every screen. A problem where document downloads could silently fail has been fixed.

  5. Improvement

Late payment penalties match on every screen

The tenant and owner list, the account statement and the penalty accrual now use the same calculation: payments are applied to debts in date order, and the open penalty shown in the list matches the statement. Penalties could be charged to residents who had paid in advance with no outstanding debt; this has been fixed.

  6. New

Impact shown before cancelling a bulk voucher

Before a bulk transaction voucher (maintenance fees, penalties and so on) is cancelled, the open and already collected amounts are shown. A voucher with lines linked to an enforcement case cannot be cancelled. A cancelled voucher can be recreated with the same settings in one step, and a line in the account statement links to the voucher it belongs to.

  7. New

Data health: penalties in the wrong account

The data health scorecard finds late payment penalties that were not recorded to the penalty account and moves them to the right account in one click, so no further penalty is charged on those amounts.

  8. Security

    Access control and security improvements

Which modules staff can view and edit is now verified on the server for every request. Application responses are no longer stored by the browser, and a standard security contact file (security.txt) has been published.

  9. New

    Financial transactions report (cash-basis book)

In properties using the cash-basis book, income and expense transactions can be viewed as a category summary, as a date-ordered list or grouped by category. Income and expenses can be filtered together or separately. When the optional "transfers between accounts" setting is switched on, transfers between cash and bank accounts also appear in the list: the receiving account is shown on the income side, the sending account on the expense side, and the transfer amount inside the total is stated separately. The category filter can show only the selected line or exclude it. The "same total as the old statement" preset applies this in one click and is noted both on screen and in the export. The report can be taken as Excel, PDF or a printout. The "What do the figures in this report mean?" section on screen briefly explains income, expenses, transfers between accounts and the basis of accounting.

  10. Improvement

    Imported late payment penalty records

Late payment penalties that arrive through a historical import are now recognised as penalties: a collection is applied to the maintenance fee first, no further penalty is charged on the penalty amount, and principal and penalty appear separately in enforcement files.

  11. Improvement

Cash-basis book and summary income and expense report

When the report period starts before the system went live, the opening cash carry-forward is included, and a collection with no matching charge is followed as an advance rather than income. On an accrual basis, balances sent to enforcement are flagged, and in the summary report amounts collected through enforcement or recorded as transfers are shown separately under their lines.

  12. New

    Contact requests from the website

Requests coming from the marketing pages are recorded and followed on a separate list on the management side.

  13. New

    Enforcement proceedings

Enforcement files, the choice of documents to attach to a file and matching with balance lines were added. Enforcement records do not change the accounting ledger; the figures are read from the ledger.

  14. New

    Bulk collection and offsetting

Distributing a single payment across several balance lines, and offsetting advances and overpayments, were added.

  15. Improvement

    Bank connection infrastructure

This was reorganised so that each bank is defined in its own module. Adding support for a new bank no longer means touching the rest of the product.

  16. Improvement

    Budget line matching

Budget lines can be linked to accounting vouchers, and actuals are followed through that link.

  17. Improvement

    Source trail in imports

For every record imported from Excel, the file and the row it came from are stored, so a faulty record can be traced back to its source.

  18. New

    Report output templates

Print and export layouts can be set per report module.

  19. New

    Support requests and membership status

Manager requests are tracked on record. Users and property memberships can also be made inactive instead of deleted, so past records are preserved.

  20. Security

    Trusted devices and SMS records

Device recognition was added to two-step verification. Every SMS sent is recorded.

  21. New

Expense invoices without a cash entry

Expense invoices that have not been paid yet can be recorded without creating a cash transaction.

  22. New

    Staff and vehicle records

Caretaker and staff details and the property's vehicles are kept in separate record lists.

  23. New

    Fixed asset and agreement tracking

Building equipment and agreements in force are followed with their dates and amounts.

  24. New

    Property logo

The management's own logo can be used on reports and printouts.

  25. Improvement

    List and report speed

The query structure behind frequently used lists was reworked, shortening load times in large portfolios.

  26. New

    Property handover

When the manager changes, all of a property's records can be handed over to the new manager; the handover is completed once the other side confirms it.

To see the product's scope in detail you can visit the features page, and you can try the system for 14 days without giving a credit card.
