Residences·High expectations, open accounts

In a residence, open accounts and reviewable records.

In residences with high maintenance fees, residents ask where their money goes. In Yonevo fees, collections, expenses and ledgers are one record; residents see their own statement in the portal, and parcels and visitors logged at the front desk appear in the same portal.

Common situations

Which of these sound familiar?

High fees, many questions
As fees grow, residents want to see what each item pays for; the longer answers take, the more trust drops.
Residents calling to ask what they owe
Every balance question is a phone call; as the number of units grows, the management office's day goes on these questions.
Fees that differ by unit
Working out amounts that vary by floor area, land share or block by hand every period can lead to mistakes.
Bank payments with no description
Working out which unit a transfer with a missing description belongs to takes time.
Expectations of formal reports
The management board and the unit owners expect regular financial statements; scattered spreadsheets do not meet that.
Handover when the management changes
If ledgers, receipts and balance lists are scattered, the handover drags on and open balances turn into disputes.
How it works in Yonevo

The same work, in one orderly record.

Charges by Rule

The monthly fee is split equally, by land share or by floor area; amounts can be entered per unit and some units left out. Posting the same period twice is blocked.

Bank Transactions

With supported banks, transactions are fetched automatically over a read-only connection; statements from other banks are brought in through data migration. You confirm which unit each payment goes to.

Resident Portal

Residents see their balance, payment history and statement in the browser and download the statement for Excel; they also follow announcements, polls, meetings and their requests here.

Paying Fees by Card

Card payments are taken through the property's own payment provider account; card details are not stored in Yonevo. A successful payment is posted to the unit as a collection.

Front Desk: Parcels and Visitors

Parcels and visitors arriving at the front desk are logged; residents see their own entries in the portal, and the name of whoever collects a parcel is recorded.

Owners and Tenants Kept Apart

Each unit's owner and tenant records are kept separately; when people move, the old and new accounts do not mix.

Announcements and Notifications

Announcements go to the whole property or to selected blocks; charge, collection and overdue notifications are sent by email or SMS according to your settings.

Ledgers and Change History

Cash-basis book or double-entry mode; double-entry mode adds the journal, general ledger and trial balance. Who changed each record, and when, is tracked.

Example workflow

When a resident asks why they owe so much

The answer comes from the record, not a phone call.

  1. 1
The resident signs in to the portal
A resident whose email matches the unit record and has been verified sees their own units.
  2. 2
    They open the statement
Which charge was posted in which month, what was paid and what remains: line by line, with an Excel download if they want it.
  3. 3
If questions remain, they open a request
The request lands on the management's screen; the reply and status are followed in the resident's portal.
  4. 4
The management looks at the same record
The manager opens the same unit's statement and the record's change history; the answer rests on the same record both sides see.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our residence has different fees per unit. Does Yonevo support this?

Yes. The amount can be split by land share, net or gross floor area, or equally; amounts can also be entered per unit. A cost that concerns only one block is charged in a separate charge with the other units left out. You set the rule once and every period runs by it.

Can residents pay their fees online?

Yes, if your property has connected a payment provider account. Residents see their current balance and payment history in the portal and pay by card; the payment is posted to the unit as a collection. The portal is used in the browser; the mobile app has not been released yet.

How are bank payments from hundreds of units posted to units?

With supported banks, transactions are fetched automatically over a read-only connection; statements from other banks are brought in through data migration. You choose which unit's account an incoming transaction is recorded to; there is no automatic unit matching. A single transfer sent for several apartments is recorded as a separate collection for each apartment.

Is there parcel, visitor and booking management?

Parcel and visitor logging is included: the front desk logs them and residents see their own entries in the portal. Booking shared facilities and access-control systems such as card entry are out of scope.

We manage several residences. Is one account enough?

Yes. Each residence is kept as a separate property with its own accounting, residents and permissions; team members get access only to the properties they are responsible for. There is no screen that combines properties into one report. If you have several properties, write to us and we will work out your total price together.
